Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci Sell Female-Driven Drama To CBS With Penalty

EXCLUSIVE: Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have offered their first project this season, a girl-centered, character-driven drama, which has showed up at CBS getting a script commitment plus penalty. Put together by Anna Fricke, the untitled project is founded on Robyn O’Brien, an author, investigator and mother of four that is an unlikely advocate to clean the foods supply. It concentrates on a congresswoman, wife and mother who fights for your underdog. last century Fox TV and Kurtzman and Orci’s studio-based K/O Paper Products are coming up with, with Fricke, Kurtzman and Orci executive creating. K/O leader Louise Kadin can also be prone to professional produce, with O’Brien aboard as consultant. Along with her husband, fellow TV author Jeremy Carver, UTA-repped Fricke developed Syfy’s adaptation to become Human.
